Verco was acquired by Nucor in 2006 for its deck manufacturing expertise in seismic design and is part of the Verco/Vulcraft group.  As the leader in steel deck manufacturing on the West coast Verco coordinates closely with our sister company Vulcraft.  

Verco does structural steel deck and Vulcraft-Utah does joists west of the Rockies.  East of the Rockies Vulcraft does both deck and joists.  As such Verco and Vulcraft use a similar suite of tools and IAPMO reports making it easy for a designer to select and specify deck no matter what part of the US they are designing in.
